“I need you to understand something: I wrote this for you. I wrote this for you, and only you. Everyone else who reads it, doesn’t get it; they may think they get it, but they don’t. This is the sign that you’ve been looking for, you were meant to read these words. Sometimes I touch the things you used to touch, looking for echoes of your fingers, and you taught me what this feels like…and then how it feels to lose it. And you showed me who I wanted to be, and then who I was…You weren’t mine to begin with, but you looked like everything I wanted, and then became something I hated. And you get thought of every day, but not in a good way. And you let me leave, and then wished I’d stayed, and you almost killed me, but I didn’t die.”—I Wrote This For You (via aadeniselsewhere)
I don’t know if anything defines the human experience more than looking at someone who makes your heart stop & knowing that you don’t have that same magical effect on them. It is painful, and full of sorrow, and explains the dichotomy of love in a way I fail to describe accurately in words. I can express what it does to me, but I fail to generate any sentimental expression with my writing. I am almost an outsider, an observer but never a participant, in the process of explaining love.

Janet Howell (D-Fairfax) on Monday attached an amendment that would require men to have a rectal exam and a cardiac stress test before obtaining a prescription for erectile dysfunction medication.”—
I hope my future husband knows how to cook and clean because I dont think I’ll be a decent housewife since I suck at cleaning and i might end up starting a fire if I cook, so better let him do that too. ._.
“Words are most beautiful when they are simple. When they are simple they do not try to impress but show what is true to the heart. No need for top hats, frilly dresses or thousand dollar shoes. An individual is impressive enough when natural.”—(via elissamariemc)
